The 1st and The 2nd Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival organized by WTIA and HKPC was held from Oct 2007 to Mar 2009 with great success. All the events of the Festival received overwhelming responses, and resulted with Full House in the Awards Presentation Ceremonies held in international event, FILMART in March 2008 and 2009 respectively.

Enabled by their enhanced functions and network availability, mobile phones have emergently become the personal screen on which people can enjoy videos at anytime, anywhere. Good quality mobile films can be developed with reasonable resources and efforts to be shown on “The Fourth Screen” on mobile phones. The 3rd Mobile Film Festival will continuously encourage creativity among local talents and to promote awareness of mobile film amongst the public.
